Exostosis Repair Video

Exotosis Repair ear surgery video. Indications for surgery: Infection, Hearing Loss, Water or Debris Trapping from Exostoses (boney growth of the external auditory canal) are all indications that you may need surgery. About: An incision behind the ear allows access to the boney growths. A diamond drill is used to remove the growths, restoring the normal contour of the external auditory canal. This disorder is associated with chronic cold water exposure. Techniques developed at CEI allow preservation of the canal skin and reduces “time out of the water” for surfers to a minimum.
